Welcome to the International Commission on Detector Dogs (ICODD), a global initiative dedicated to advancing the science, standards, and best practices for canine detection teams. Managed by the Global Forensic and Justice Center (GFJC) at Florida International University, ICODD serves as an international forum where organizations, practitioners, and scientists provide input into the development and adoption consensus-based standards for canine detection training, certification, and deployment. Our mission is to enhance the effectiveness and reliability of detector dog teams through scientific research, evidence-based training methodologies, and the dissemination of standards and best practices. Whether you are a canine practitioner, researcher, or industry expert, ICODD provides valuable resources, training courses resulting in certifications, and networking opportunities to support the development and operational success of detection canine teams worldwide.
